Leonie is a Cardiff based children's book illustrator and artist having published several books in both English (Dragon Press) and Welsh (RILY) which can be found for sale in bookshops as far away as Australia.

Originally from rural north-east Wales, she studied Fine Art at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth and has since made the capital city her home.

​

Her work, 'How are you feeling, Little Mouse? / Sut wyt ti Llygoden fach?' was Book Trust's Book of the day and Book Trust Cymru's Book of the Month in October 2023 and also featured in their top 10 Welsh books of 2023.

Leonie's most recent title with author Mari George, 'Sally's Tale / Diwrnod Cyntaf Wini' is featured in Book Trust's Great Books Guide 2025-26.
